Candice Swanepoel found herself in a lot of internet related hot water this week after photos of her surfaced causing concern over an emaciated look. Candice was seen with fellow Victoria’s Secret Angels, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio this week launching Victoria’s Secret’s 2011 “Swim” line of swimwear at the Mondrian Hotel in Hollywood.

Now, I will have to admit… Even when I first saw these photos, I thought to myself “What in the heck do these girls eat? Do they even eat at all? Or do they just drink smoothies all day?” And my thoughts were mainly because of none other than Candice herself, as both Alessandra and Adriana, now mothers, look quite healthy. Cause let’s be real folks, it looks like she has a spine with skin wrapped around it… Where the heck is her stomach at !!! How do you fuel that amazing body of yours? Do you feed intravenously and that’s it??

I am one of the few folks who have been blessed to see Candice in person, and when I saw her, she definitely looked like a healthy girl, with some amazing height !! But she definitely looks like she lost a few pounds over the past year. The concern has spread like wildfire around the interwebs as many people have stated that she looks rather unhealthy. Candice made a statement that she’s been incredibly busy, and admits that when she’s busy she has a tendency to lose weight, and that her main concern lately has been actually trying to pack on more pounds. And while she may be lookin a little light, she definitely aint lackin in the derriere, that’s for damn sure.. Baby got back !!

Candice has also been soaking up more of the spotlight lately as the 22 year old South African is gaining much more prominence and recognition in her field and in the realm of Victoria’s dirty little secret… whatever the heck that is, since it’s still a damn secret!!
Candice did seem thankful for the global concern over her health, telling People Magazine
“I am healthy and happy. I am heartened to know how much everyone cares about me, but in this case, everything is normal and good.”
Well, all I gotta say is, Candice is lookin damn fine, and let’s hope she gains enough pounds to stay healthy and not harm that physique of hers, and of course to get the millions of naysayers off her back, cause really… Who wouldn’t want to look at that??
